Varieties

Adalayd – The original variety of paspalum to be introduced in the United States.  This older variety has a lighter green color and a rougher texture then newer improved cultivars. 

Sea Green – Improved cultivar of paspalum that produces a very dense canopy.  It is well suited for use on golf course fairways, tee’s, and is very resistant to ball marks on putting surfaces.  It is a salt hardy cultivar, and maintains an excellent winter color.

Sea Isle I - A very hardy selection of paspalum, Sea Isle I is the most tested variety. It’s fine leaf texture and ability to withstand drought and wear it is most suitable for use on commercial or residential lawns, and in golf course fairways. 

Sea Isle 200 – The first commercial sold green variety which can tolerate low mowing heights.

Sea way – with a mowing height of .25” to 1.5” this variety makes and excellent turf for fairway, or residential lawn use.  Sea way has an elevated salt tolerance compared to other varieties.

SeaDwarf – This dwarfed variety has an excellent dark green winter color, and salt tolerance.  It’s rarely exceeds 2” in height.
